PROVOKING OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN

May I crave your indulgence that you pay rapt attention to this section because the law that open the heavens has no regards for ignorance which has made many to open heavens of brimstone upon themselves but that wouldn't be your portion in Jesus name. The windows of heaven don’t just fling opened. They require someone to place an order for it. For the windows of heaven to react there must be an action on the recipient’s side. Scripture says that things must first be bond on earth before they are bond in heaven and not the other way round.

KEYS TO OPENING WINDOWS OF HEAVEN TO SELF DETRIMENT

Hence, in other to avoid opening the windows of heaven to my disadvantage what the keys to opening it to my disadvantage? I will just pick out two from the references I made to Genesis 6, 7&19;

Ø Firstly, Genesis 6v5 says:

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”

The open heaven of flood that wiped out that generation was provoked by wickedness and evil thoughts. Once your thoughts and acts are beginning to have savours of wickedness and evil, know that you are provoking the opening of unpleasant windows of heaven.

Ø Secondly, Genesis 19v24-25 says:

“Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground”

Why did God have to do this to a people He created? Has He no mercy again? These and many more questions might be rolling through your mind now. The recipient provoked the received, Genesis 18v20 says:

“...Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous”

Also Genesis 13v13 states that;

“...the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly”

They were so neck-deep in adultery that they wanted to sleep with angels. Sin i.e. every act of unrighteousness is key to provoking an opening of the windows of heaven to your disadvantage.

Conclusively, not to dwell too much on what we are not to do, let us lay hold on the keys to provoking an open heaven to your advantage.

Prayer Point

Father, please don't let open upon myself open heavens for curses in Jesus name.

Conclusively on the blessings that accrue when the windows of heaven are opened;

6. Vision is restored. Scripture says that people perish where there is no vision, Proverbs 29v18. A man in Mark 10v46-52 had stayed so long with blindness that it had become his first name. He was called “Blind Bartemaeus” but when the windows of heaven opened over him his vision was restored and the dream of perishing was aborted. Vision is the hallmark of life. However, many have sight but no vision while some have vision and no sight. The later is preferable however; under an open heaven both are restored.

7. Storms are stilled. Mark 3v35-41 records an account of Jesus and His disciples travelling in a ship and a great storm arouse along the line. Jesus was sleeping while the disciples tried to still the storm using their intellect to no avail. Then they requested for an open heaven, Jesus went up board and the storm was over. That is why I know that your storms are over now in Jesus name.

8. Journeys are shortened. The disciples of Jesus were said to have been travelling on a boat but they were being restricted or slowed-down by a storm. However, Jesus came walking on that same storm to meet them and scripture records that they immediately got to their destination as soon as he stepped into the boat, John 6v19-21.

Conclusively, the list of events that take place when the windows of heaven open is inexhaustible however, just as there is what to do to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven for curses there are things to do to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven for the blessings highlighted above and many more.

OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN FOR BLESSINGS

In my introduction I said that there are two sides to the windows of heaven and they are the ugly and good sides. We didn’t dwell much on the ugly side because I didn’t want your minds to brood over it let alone producing however, we need not be ignorant of the vices of the devil.

For every original, there is a counterfeit but while the devil rules the later world God rules the former. Hence let’s see what happens when the windows of heaven open on a man’s life.

1. Divine visitation will be experienced. In 2Chronicles 1v7 God was said to have visited King Solomon as the windows of heaven were open over him.

2. Wealth is being released. In 2Chronicles 1v14-17, when the windows of heaven opens on a man’s life like it is doing for you now, the power to get wealth is being released. In other words, whatever you touch henceforth will bring you gain monetarily and otherwise.

3. Health is being restored. In John 5v1-12, we read the account of a man who had lived with a predicament for about thirty-eight years. He had lost hope. All he was waiting for was death. He was angry with his family because they couldn’t just help. As for him, he was finished. But the windows of heaven opened over him and that was the end of his protracted illness.

4. Issues are being resolved. This is for you; I don’t care for how long that issue has lasted it is being resolved now in Jesus name. This happens when the windows of heaven open. How come I am this certain? In Mark 5v25-29, there we read the account of a woman with the issue of blood and had lived with it for about twelve year. She had lost everything she had to trying to solve it but to no avail until she was left with the heavens to battle with. Suddenly the windows of heaven were opened and her issue was resolved that same hour. I say to you again, I don’t care how long that issue in your marriage, carrier, ministry, work-place, court etc has lasted, they are being resolved this same hour in Jesus name.

5. Stagnation is sent packing. The windows cannot open and such things as stagnation will still be standing. Impossible! I read that when the Ark of the Covenant landed in the house of Dagon, it bowed. They set it up again but this time it didn’t just bow but it scattered, 1Samuel 5v2-4. When a King steps into his Palace all his subordinates rise-up and bow. In the same vein, when the windows of heaven opens all else either bow or take to their heels. In the case of stagnation it takes to its heel. That is why I know that it is your set time to make tremendous progress in Jesus name. How come I am this sure? In Acts 3v2, a man who was born lame was laid at the gate called Beautiful which leads to the Temple had stagnation expelled at the opening of the windows of heaven. He had never crawled nor walked let alone running but when the windows of heaven opened over him, he did not only walk, he leaped and jumped. That will be your testimony soon in Jesus name.

Confession

I am walking tall in favor. All things are working together for my good. The line are falling for me in pleasant place and I am continually provoking open heavens for blessing in Jesus name.

OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN FOR CURSES

Now that you know who controls the opening and shutting of heavens it is also important that you know the different types of heavens and we'll began with the windows of heaven that releases curses. The world is so disorganized today that people especially in the part of the world where I’m from troop in their millions to meetings tagged Open Heaven, Breakthrough, Deliverance etc in search of solutions to their lives issues. Unfortunately, very few enjoy the positive dividend of such meetings.

However, I wouldn’t want you to misunderstand me. I have not said that these meetings aren’t good but the state of the mind of their attendees has doomed them for the curse or negative consequence of such meetings. For instance, everyone can be praying for an open heaven but what individual gets is essentially a result of the state of mind with which it is being provoked.

In Genesis 6&7, our forefathers provoked upon themselves an open heaven of curses which wiped them out completely. Also in Genesis 19 we read the account of how two cities, Sodom and Gomorrah were burnt to ashes by an open heaven. What am I trying to pass across? It is simple, that the windows of heaven can pour out destruction as well as blessing.

For instance, it could be so annoying when you have been getting ready for a party all day and someone mistakenly pours out through the window oily water as you made to pass through their backyard. On the other hand, if you were on fire and someone mistakenly poured cooled water on you through the window as you ran through their backyard to your house, I think this is better, since you were actually running to your house to quench the heat with that same water.

In the same vein, the windows of heaven could be destructive when provoked unlawfully. In other words, just like anyone who is a Priest is forbidden from entering the sacred place of the Temple where sacrifices are being offered,  if you are not a child of God you will only be heaping on yourself coals of fire if you try to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven.

However, there is one more point I will like us to note and that is the fact that whenever the windows of heaven are activated by whichever means of provocation it releases abundance. It is my prayer that you wouldn’t provoke abundance of curse rather it will be blessings in abundance.

Father, don't let me provoke the windows of heaven to my disadvantage.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (2)

GOD CONTROLS THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN

God controls the times and seasons according to Daniel 2v21. He also controls events of life, Isaiah 45v7 says;

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things”

For this cause, without Him you can do nothing, John 15v5. Also, Psalms 127v1 says;

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain”

All these are to drive down my point that God controls all things. However, because God controls seasons it can appear in either of two forms depending on His mode which is largely determined by the recipient. It could be either good or bad. Let’s have a look at similar event from scriptures when God opened the windows of heaven for destruction and then for good but we’ll dwell more on the good side.

Lord Jesus, because you are the controller of times, seasons and the heavens. Command them all to work in my favor from now on.
