GREAT PEACE AFTER THE STORM

Reaching heights in life is always very tasking, that's just the way its been designed so your case isn't any exception. There are several sayings to that effect for instance, whoever will eat of the honey stack-up in the hollow of a rock wouldn't bother about his/her axe going blunt.

Also any pot that ever wants to eat fried pepper must be prepared for maximum heat etc. Why all the sayings? Its simple! Life for the great especially for those who have determined to be great at all legitimate cost and I am sure a few of us fall into that category and all circumstances around reflects just the opposite of greatness.

I have good news for us here, our long wait is over because I already hear the sound of abundance of rain which will begin soonest and we'll dance into the new year in Jesus name.

Conclusively, the travail of Joseph begining from Genesis 37; that of Peter in Luke 5; also that of David in 1Samuel 16 just to mention a few should encourage you that though time, space, enemies and available resources etc are key, they are not factors in your being celebrated this season in Jesus name. Despite all odds, you will be great.

AFTER OFFICE-HOURS/DAYS BLESSINGS

So many especially those in business have restricted their blessings to office-hours/days. God is not a respecter of office-hours or days, when He is set to bless/favour you He is set and nothing can stop Him.

Daddy Adeboye once told us how he got his money out of a bank which was heading for liquidation the following monday the saturday before. God is both the Creator and controller of time and season therefore, all obey's Him. In Joshua 10, He caused the day/sun to stand still; also in Isaiah 38:8 He reversed the day by ten degrees...

In Luke 5 we read the story of Peter's crawling business till he met Jesus(the God of all time); Peter was already washing his nets because it was closing hours and the day had been futile for him as it has been for many of you but Jesus came to his aide as He is coming to your aide now.

Conclusively you know the rest of the story, God said I should tell you to expect off office-hour/day miracles from Him soon so don't bother washing your nets because if He has said it, its because He will do it, Isaiah 55:8-11.

The Original Plan

The Bible is the manual of man's life. The first and second chapter of the book of Genesis reveals the successful operation of man. The original plan is God's plan.

As we studied the subject of Polygamy in Church yesterday, one of our key scriptures Matt 19:8b to be precise was key as it states that polygamy was never part of God's original plan.

Having established that there are original plans, it is important to relate it to every facet of life. One original plan is that everyone who turns to Christ or becomes born again joins the evangelism chariot to win others.

Conclusively, the original plan is that souls added to the Church joins the salvation chariot; one is to win at least one thousand others while two will win ten thousand. How? By bearing precious fruits of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23. Join this chariot today.

Grace-recognition and Grace-Limit

It is very crucial to your living let alone success as it were to recognize the place of grace upon your life. I said in one of my latest blogs or bcs that grace is that thin line between victory and defeat, success and failure, sickness and health, disease and ease, turbulence/storm and peace, death and life etc.

But I will like to add that there is a limit to how far grace can hold you after which it breaks; grace has an elastic limit. As I studied the story of poor Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:20-end, I discovered what I'm sharing with you. The rich man had everything at a time but not after the elastic limit of his grace was reached.

Conclusively, a recognition of grace can only attract more grace while on the other hand is disgrace. I wallow in grace because I recognize all its works ranging from salvation through life and success. Shalom.

Here Comes The Dreamer

Genesis 37:18-20

Everyone has challenges, whether financial, emotional, physical, relational, educational etc. No one lives a perfect life. The difference is how you respond to the challenges of life.

In the face of adversity, some develop wings, others go for crutches. Some people use their “handicaps” as crutches, that is, what to lean on as an excuse for not realising their potentials; while others look within themselves and leverage on the power of imagination to create new levels for themselves. That was the case of Joseph, the eleventh son of his father and his favourite child....

Seeing your desired life through your mind precedes its manifestation,until then nothing is permitted to play.

Conclusively just like Joseph it might look as if nothing is happening on the outside and you have been tagged "Dreamer", don't be anxious because ANY PICTURE you are able to create of yourself you can become on the ground that you will hold on a little longer, Gen 11:6, Habakuk 2:1-3.

Your Future, How Bright?

Many of us claim to have bright future but very few ask, how bright? There is no brightness without light first coming on board. It doesn't matter how many times you confess having a bright future, until you have located the lead-light your confessions will be mere blabbing.

What am I trying to pass across to you through this short epistle? Its simple. Locate your lead-light not until then can you be sure of a bright future.

Conclusively, Jesus is the light of the world and the good shepherd respectively; without Him you can do nothing hence, He alone is the hope for a bright future. Equation balanced!

HOW THANKFUL ARE YOU?

Blood dripped from his mouth as he gasped at about one minute interval. My Doctor friend was in-charge of his dressing that particular morning, he tossed the patient's arm in any direction he chose as he fixed a drip to it.

My heart became very heavy as I flowed with compassion towards the patient; his sister and mother watched as he was being attended to that morning. There were other cases but I had a full glimpse of this one.

I later asked my Doctor friend if the patient had a severe accident but he said he has a tumour. Do you mean the stuff blocking the whole of his mouth from either talking and eating delicacies is cancer? I asked and he said yes. What is his chances of survival was one last question I asked my Doctor friend and he said "it is proffessionally confidential". Of course you know what that means, don't you?

Sorry to bother you with such a picture this morning but I think you should know about this. You are not an accident: what, where and who you are today is by God's grace but how thankful are you?

Conclusively, empty your tank of complains and murmurings and load it with thanksgiving for just what,where and who you are now because grace is that thin dividing line between you and that fellow who is eaten-up gradually by cancer making it possible to thank or praise God with his mouth. fft

THE KUSHITE- FAITH, INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION UNLIMITED!: LOOK AROUND YOU

Some time ago a rich man died and landed in hell while the poor man who begged at his gate was on the other side in Abraham's bossom (The rich man and poor Lazarus). The torment was so much in hell that the rich man made several impossible requests one of which was that Father Abraham should send Lazarus to earth from Heaven to evangelize to his sibling.

Father Abraham's response was stunning: he said,no that's not the order,they already have Elijah and co: they wouldn't listen to a heavenly visitors either if those on earth can't handle them.

It therefore follows that, the answers to your prayers are already with someone here on earth and not in heaven.It must first anwser here before Heaven takes recognition of it and not the other way round.

Conclusively, so many are stock at this point and I therefore advice you pray thus; Father connect me to the answers (person) to my petitions and suplication in Jesus name.

Its high time you look around! Happy sunday.

The seed is a custodian of courage

We have been able to establish in previous pages that the seed we carry is a major determinant of our characters. We established that God shared His traits into each of the animals He created while He put ALL in man. That is why a man can pretend to be something he is not like the chameleon and also be bold like the lion. And be as gentle as the Dove. But we will be looking at courage or boldness as you may call it.

This trait we see more in the lion. It never turns away from any. Today the lion is tagged the king of the animal kingdom not because it is the most deadly but because of its boldness. When Joshua was to step into Moses’ shoes as the leader of Israel, He emphasized the place of courage like that was all it took to lead, Deuteronomy 31v7, Joshua 1v6, 9.

Courage is therefore the number one criteria towards the throne because there will surely be oppositions. When you carry God’s seed, you carry God. Psalm 24v7-10 reads;

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates: and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors and the king of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory?...”

You can’t afford to live here on earth without the weapon of courage because the devil will always roar at you even though he is powerless, 1Peter 5v8. He likes to imitate the lion. But we have the courage, strength and stamina of the lion put together. You can’t afford to be tossed around by the waves of happenings around the world when you have what it takes to avert it.

Unfortunately, people have lost contact with themselves so much that they are now only related to or with by what they do and not who they are anymore. The animals understand this truth. They know more about us than we are yet to discover ourselves. I say unto you run towards your goliath and you will find his head rolling off.

The seed as greatness

A puppy doesn’t need a special training to know how to bark because it’s already wired into it from birth. In the same vein, a lion’s cub doesn’t need to be educated to know how to roar. It does it as a habit. It will be an abuse of nature for any of this creatures mentioned above and many other to be schooled before they can perform this feats.

The mother eagle takes the eaglet to a height on her back and drops her several times to train her to use her inbuilt seed before releasing it into its independent world. This is to say that greatness doesn’t necessarily depend on your being educated as it were.

Education becomes the best legacy you can get only when it is used to train your seed. However the opposite is what we have around us today. We are following what people see and that is why only a few reach the top.

Within a few hours after which two boys are born into two different homes the difference will be clear. Ranging from the attention these two babies will be receiving at their different ends through the food and dresses they will be eating and covered with respectively. The difference will be clear as to whether one is born into a rich home or otherwise.

In the same vein, our world as God’s children is a world of signs, a world of happenings and a world of wonders. You cannot be on the fence. It is either you are performing or you are deforming. Many have gone without landmarks on the sands of time. It is our time to shine. If there is anything you have seen in the world called greatness. I have good news for you, you haven’t seen anything yet because greater is he that is in you than what you have seen.

1corinthians 2v9 says;

“...eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him”

So you aren’t seen anything yet. It should gladden your heart that all you see people oppress themselves with is nothing compared to what the seed in you will produce soon. It might not look like it now, you just watch it. In little or no time, you will be up there. Let’s look at Joseph as one who as enjoyed this benefit with his account in Genesis 37 and so on. The first thing we notice about this seed is that it gives it carrier a dream and that dream is that of greatness to guide him through life regardless of what he encounter, his focus must be on the seed (his dream).

Yes! At certain points in his life time he had temporary breakthroughs which could be mistaken for the real thing but because he wouldn’t settle for anything less than his seed until he got to the apex. That is where we all belong. You might not have been visited by God in your dreams as it were but one dream that ties us all together is this dream of greatness, Jeremiah 29v11, Isaiah 8v18.

Again you might want ask why all these down turn of things around you. Joseph had his share of it before he eventually got to the top. Journeying through the tunnel of trials is part and parcel of our quest to the very top in this Dark Age. Your seed as to grow along side tares but note, you will scale through. So in whatever you are passing through now. Just have faith in God and watch it, we will see at the top. Cheers.

The seed as peace

You can’t have the seed of God inside you and not be at peace. Not the normal peace that comes from our bulk of achievement so He said;

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14V27

The world is experiencing so much turmoil today like never before just like Jesus said in John 15v33 that in the world we will have tribulations but we should be of good cheers, He (the seed) has overcome the world. To supplement the scripture above on the type of peace the carrier of God’s seed should have is Philippians 4v6-7 which says;

“Be anxious for nothing....And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”

Interesting! This is the level of peace we as God’s children should operate in this age but unfortunately the reverse is the case. Let’s have a look at one man who operated under the atmosphere of this peace.

The children of God are supposed to be a terror to the kingdom of darkness which was the situation in the case of Elisha in 2kings 6 when a search was declared of the man of God. Scripture says that the servant of the man of God woke up to see armies all over the place to capture his master and he said, I am sure with tears rolling down his face

“...Alas, my master! How shall we do?” 2king 6v15

One would have expected his master to panic but hear him;

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that are with us are more than they that are with them” 2kings 6v16

Wao! I am enjoying this myself, so peaceful and no running around.  He knew what he was carrying naturally entitled him to an in visible security that can never be over powered. Anyway is it not who you see that you overpower? He simply addressed the vision of his servant through the seed he also carried by praying for him;

“...Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes that he may see and the Lord opened the eyes of the young man: and he saw: and, behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” 2kings6v17

Did you see that? Until you are able to see correctly, you are not entitled to this peace, which is another way of awakening ones’ consciousness. To see also in this context could mean to know. So the big question here is what do you see or know about yourself? Remember that ignorance they say is not an excuse in the court of law. However God confirms that many are destroyed for lack of knowledge, Hosea 4v6.

Furthermore in 1John 4v4, Apostle John emphasized;

“Ye are of God, Little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world”

You are not just going to fight. You were born a winner. That’s why you are called more than Conquerors in Romans 8v37. The disciples of Jesus caught a revelation of their inner strength such that when He (Jesus) was rejected in Samaria, they asked;

“...wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven and consume them...” Luke 9v54

They had seen it work for Elisha in 2King 2v9-12 but hear Jesus’ response;

“...Ye know not what manner of Spirit ye are of” Luke 9v55b

In other words, whatever you command will be granted and since we are not here on earth to destroy but save, keep your spirits or words under check. You can’t carry the seed of God and go about talking any how to such an extent that you mar your own life. However, everyone will account for every idle word spoken, Matthew 12v36.

The type of words that exude your mouth goes a long way in determining the type of spirit at work in you. Your word is an acid test for your world. You can’t be talking poverty and expect prosperity. These are two parallel lines that will never meet.

Conclusively, when you know, you will be at peace. For instance, I am not anxious as to whether I will amount to anything in life because greatness as been wired into me so, I cannot but have my place among Kings.

A Pastor prayed for me one day and when he finished he asked me, are you from a royal family? I said no (as it were) sir and I said, why sir? He said because I see you (me) dine with kings. In my heart, that’s true because I knew the Spirit that dwelt on my inside. I went to an office where a friend of mine served at a time to check something and after some time my friend turned at me and said, why is your face glittering like someone who has just returned from an overseas tour. Friend as at that time I had not being on an air plane before let alone flying abroad. There was some thing on my inside that cannot afford to be dormant. It has nothing to do with where you live. 

Be good because you will be great. You will eat the good of this land if and only you obey, Isaiah 1v19. Obey who? the seed of God in you, because He teaches you the way to profit, Isaiah 48v17b.

The seed is our guarantee for answered prayers

The bible makes it clear that it is possible for a mother to forget her suckling, Isaiah 49v15 the tie of birth notwithstanding. It is only God who will neither leave nor forsake you.

 A preacher once saw a revelation of foot prints in a particular path. Standing with Jesus he asked Him why there appeared the foot prints of two at some point and that of one at other points. Jesus simply replied, the two foot prints were His’ (Jesus) and the other mans’ while the single foot print were His’ (Jesus) while He (Jesus) carried the other man in times of trouble.

Apparently you know as much as I do that it is very unusual for a mother in her right senses to forsake her baby. But God says it is possible. His own case of parenthood it’s different. Scripture says; this is the confidence that we (God’s children) have that when we pray He (God) hears us, 1John 5v14. As long as you bear the seed, he is obliged to listen.

He said WHENEVER we His children call Him, He will answer us, Psalm 91v15. Now the most effective way to hold God is by His words. Whenever He says a thing, He is bound to perform it. He wouldn’t change it, Numbers 23v19b. If I were you I will begin an ultimate search for all His promises in the scripture and claim them legally as one who knows his rights.

Hear this, you don’t ask that your right be given you but that it is not taken away from you. However the wages of labour is not a gift but a reward. These all validates your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

Many are stock at this junction today and the way out is to stand. It is understandable that your case might have grown so bad that you are wondering there could be any lasting change. So was the case of Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37v1-10. Your case can’t be worse. This man’s situation was “very dry indeed”. Nothing was happening around him. He was at a standstill such that when God asked him if he had any hope left, he replied his hope was in God. So God swung into action by releasing His seed into the situation at hand.

Note that God will always need a vessel to manifest on earth. So He decided to use the man who had the problem himself. God told the man to release the seed He (God) had put into him. Now because this man had lost all hope to God, he couldn’t see himself changing his situation even when God had ordered him to do so. So he simply told the situation what God said with emphasis on the fact that it was God who initiated his declaration. And because everything on earth takes their being from God Himself, Colossians 1v16-17 they had no choice but to respond to His voice else they lose their being.

This is why I know without mincing words that and any form of instability that you will not die in that terrible situation you are. You will be celebrated soon. Your case will become a testimony that will change many lives. The tides will turn for you. You will not die in that storm but you will get to the other side In Jesus Name.

Finally, the reputation of a king is measured by the standard of living of his citizens. Do you now see why you can’t afford to remain a shame to God and His kingdom? Just like the prodigal son who lived in poverty outside his father’s house while even the servants in his fathers’ house had more than enough, Luke 15v11-32. An heir will remain a slave as long as the seed in him remains dormant and without the fruits of his family resemblance.  The subject answered prayers in relation to the seed in you cannot be overemphasized but the summary of it all is that God, our father is ever available to answer our calls any time with a sense of urgency as well.Bless you!
