The heritage of God’s seed

A farmer who desires a harvest better than his last will be wise enough to sow the seeds of the best fruits from his last harvest or go for more quality seeds. This explains why the Ebira’s (Kogi State, Nigeria) Yam’s come out extremely big. In addition to planting good seeds, the Yams also take advantage of the very big hips made for them. Hence Genesis 8v22 mandates that every harvest must be preceded by a seed time.

Now after the fall of man, God in His infinite mercies sowed His only begotten son (Jesus) through His death on the cross, John 3v16 to harvest the whole world. I am privileged and also make bold to say that I am a product of that seed God sowed. Because everybody had now been grafted with the corrupt tree automatically as we are born into this world, the only way to get man to produce good fruits again was to destroy the illegal grafting and replace it with the tree of God’s seed which is already our root so this another way of saying we are been restored back to where we were before the fall. How do we undergo this grafting process?   John 1v12 says;

“But as many a received Him, to the gave He power to become the sons of God...”

So as we repent, accept, and confess Jesus as our Lord and personal saviour the grafting takes place and the Holy Spirit which is God’s seed is given us. The Holy Spirit is interpreted as power because that is what he actually according to Acts 1v8 saying;

 “And ye shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit is come upon you...”

 Hence the Holy Spirit is behind the manifestation of the fruit without which you can do nothing, John 15v5. We are now children of God having gone through this process but it’s important that our access limits to God are spelt out.

 Many claim to have God as their Father and see Him more as a consuming fire than a loving Father. Please don’t get me wrong, I am only trying to clarify that God is a consuming fire to His enemies and a loving Father to us His children. What is therefore our access limit to God our father? Luke 11v11-13 and Romans 8v32 reads respectively;

“If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he as a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly father give...”

“He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things”

God will go to any length for us. We have an unlimited access to Him any time. In fact scripture reveals that He doesn’t sleep, Psalm 121v4. In Luke 15v31 He releases a blank cheque for us to fill out with our desire. Hear Him;

“And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me and ALL that I have is thine”

That how generous our God is but His seed on our inside with evidence of fruits is our access card. You cannot overdraw His account. If there is something you need that you can’t find around, you name it and He will make it available to you. God bless you.
