STRATEGIES FOR BINDING THE STRONG MAN

YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD- This is a vital force used in binding the devil and silencing him permanently. JESUS CHRIST displayed the efficacy of this force in Matthew 4 when he was being tempted by this same devil, He said in one of HIS responses;

 “…it is written; man shall not leave by bread alone but by every WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD” Matthew 4v4

You have your living in what is written and nothing more. So if you don’t know what is written you are stalled, you will freeze at the slightest roar of the devil. There is no doubt that JESUS had a full knowledge of the efficacy of the WORD because HE kept saying “it is written”. Where is it written? In the WORD! But you have to take a step further to have the word engraved on your heart where they can’t be erased forever, Deuteronomy 6v6, Jeremiah 31v33.

Likewise if we Christian will embrace this weapon, we will free ourselves from many challenges and all the harassments of the devil for the Bible say;

 “…then the devil left HIM…” Matthew 4v11.

There is no way you will attack the devil with the WORD  that he will not leave you alone, though for a while during which you are not to relent in increasing your knowledge of the WORD because he will always come back to check if, Matthew 12v43-45

“…and those that know their GOD shall be strong…” Daniel 11v32

Strength is the exclusive reserve of those who gather knowledge from the word of God. Hence strength is a product of your knowledge of the WORD. Hence knowledge is the strength you require to knockout the devil from your life.

“…and the knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding…” Proverbs 9v10

The depth of your understanding or knowledge of the HOLY ONE as well as HIS WORD is what determines the distance the devil keeps from you. So embrace the WORD with all your heart because there lays your strength to defeat the devil.

JOY UNSPEAKABLE

“...the joy of the LORD is my STRENGTH…” Nehemiah 8v10

You will agree with me that all you need to bind the devil have there root in STRENGHT. Nehemiah 8v10 has been misinterpreted up till today as the joy of the LORD being ones strength as it were, no! It is God’s joy that we are full of strength also according to 3John 2. God is never happy with our being discomforted and that is why Jesus came in the first place.

Now when His joy finds expression in us through strength in our inner being all else gives way. It doesn’t matter what you feel in your body, it is only the effect of the roaring of the devil waiting for your response in form of diagnosing its meaning and giving it a name because names are points of contacts.

A man feels somehow in is body and goes to see a doctor, he eventually comes back with a name after being diagnosed. Friends the body is bound to respond or react to stress or age, but it will only take you a little rest, applying of the anointing oil, a short prayer and laying of hand to make you and get you back on your feet.

“Therefore with joy shall ye draw waters out of the wells of salvation” Isaiah 12v3

However Prophet Isaiah’s view digs deeper into the subject of joy and describes it as being a ridge for mining the blessings of salvation. Treasures are found in depths and not on surfaces so you need a ridge to access them.

Friends I don’t know what has been hindered from your reach, be it your health, finance, peaceful marriage etc RECEIVE THEM BACK NOW IN JESUS NAME, AMEN! Just be happy, rejoice, why? The Bible says that                                                                                                                          

“…yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM who loved us…” Romans 8v37

In all, we are not just conquerors but more than conquerors. Rejoice! Rejoice!!  Rejoice!!! The devil is by nature an enemy of happiness, good things etc and that’s why he gets at anything to truncate your joy. He is not happy that you’re reading this epistle now because he knows that it puts you above him the more. Never allow your joy gauge to rest on red!

KEY STRATEGIES FOR CLAIMING HINDERED BLESSINGS

“…for a great and effective door has opened to me and there are many adversaries” 1Corintians 16v9

Born again Christians are to have it behind their minds that every great and effective door is opposed by the forces of hell. For many in the world today, you and I are their opened doors. But I have good news for you;

“Who is he that overcomes the world, but he who believes that JESUS is the son of GOD” 1John5:5

Because you have received JESUS CHRIST and are now born again, those opposing forces can’t block you, but they try to do it in most cases because we do not put them where they belong. As Christian we live by the kingdom’s rules on earth. The devil’s road blocks don’t apply to us because we are travelling at top speed on the highways of God. Daniel was a Prophet of GOD, how come the answer to his prayer was withheld? He was not aware of the speed at which Heaven attend to our prayers and that the enemy wasn’t happy with his request reaching him.

However, as I take you on this ride you will contact an insight into your blessings that no force of hell can ever comprehend. The long time you have been on the queue notwithstanding. Bless you 

KEY STRATEGY

“…how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his good unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house” Matthew 12v29

It is important that we note that those opposing forces are strong men, because it will only take a strong man to oppose an Angel e.g. prince of Persia in Daniel 10. You will agree with me that it is important we identify who these strong men are, how powerful they are and the instrument with which to bind them. By the time we are through, the devil will no more hinder your blessings because you now know his tricks and that he is a defeated foe.

WHO ARE THESE STRONG MEN?

“Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” 1Peter 5v8

“The thief does not come except to steal, to kill and to destroy…” John 10v10

It is now evident that our major enemy here is the devil (strong man) and he will go to any length to stop us from receiving our blessings even to the extent of pretending to be what he is not.

Friends I will like for you to know that the devil is not happy about our salvation but the fact that we are born again does not stop him from putting other plans in place just to hinder us from getting what belongs to you. Satan the devil is there the strong man that needs to be contended with.

                                                                                                                                            

HOW POWERFUL IS HE?

“…your adversary the devil walks about LIKE a roaring lion…” 1Peter5v8

We will need to pay rapt attention to this; documentary reveals that when the lion reaches a certain age, it can’t chase its prey again, it uses its voices as its trap to catch its prey, how? Whenever it sight’s a prey, it roars and the prey freezes for fear then the lion pounces on it with little or no strength. That is exactly what the devil is doing to many Christian today.

The devil is not a lion, there is only one real lion and that is the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH. For instances, many Christian are sick today as a result of their freezing from the roaring of the fake lion, the devil via the Doctors report, giving your simple tiredness a name that carries all the alphabets, tell me how this fake lion wouldn’t take you for a ride.

Note this today, the so called strong man is as powerless as a fly and his place is under our feet not in our homes, business or our bodies, he only pretends to be who he is not. You will agree with me that the roaring names given to issues of life today are the access points through which the devil enters such situations. The fear of AIDS kill more today than the virus does. What he does is drop a signal like a blind man or thief who wants to know if anybody is around watching, before launching into action.

The devil receives your response of exclamation and fear first and you know that the moment fear sets in; it will take the grace of GOD to escape such an attack. It holds onto your words in response to what you have seen or heard and uses them against you. So the next time you hear, feel or see anything contradicting your peace, health, finances etc don’t be afraid, only believe that there is one with you with whom all things are possible. He can change and make anything, so kill fear first and replace it with faith. You know, the devil knows that as soon as he is able to capture your faith he has captured you peace and future, you are now a captive in his hands. This is where many are today, I therefore send this epistle into the world as God hand to touch the weakness of every feeble out there in Jesus name, Amen!

TAKE THE DEVIL FOR A RIDE

The name strong man is an irony of who the devil really is to the children of GOD and to his shame also because we as Christian have to contend with him. Just as I wrote in an earlier epistle that the original rules the counterfeit, the devil is only a counterfeit. He is nothing to reckon with but a toothless bull dog.

You can’t successfully take the devil for a ride without a quality first class walk with God so as not to become his victims like the seven sons of one sceva in Acts 19 who thought they could deal with God on a third party ground. Scripture says the devil made a real mess of them because they were said to have fled the venue naked. That is why scripture admonishes that His law mustn’t at any time depart from our mouth, Joshua 1v8. However you can’t have His words in your mouth and not have God in there. So it is your relationship with God that gives you a ride on the back of the devil.

ANGELS IN THE FORM OF MAN

 INTRODUCTION    

Most people have restricted the persons of angels to invisible beings and for those who believe they are visible ones in a blue moon; they believe angels are giant which is quite true. For instance Rev 21:17 says;

“And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel”

From the above scripture we have the average height of an angel to be 144 Cubits i.e. about 8,064cm or 80.64m. That, you will agree with me is a height indeed. In another instance, a sister gave a testimony of how the 747-aircraft in which she was travelling at a time developed fault while Boeing and of course pandemonium exactly describes the situation on the plane the moment it was announced that there was a fault and crash-landing was the only way out. She took a glance at the window and she saw an angel smiling at her as he held the plane in the palm of his hand, this of course gave her peace.

In this very short epistle the message I am communicating is that your angels most times take up the form of man and this we can ascertain by the characteristics of angels and possibly their position.

WHO ARE MY ANGELS?

God transforms our angels into leaders. In other words, they appear in form of leaders in our market place of life. That person ahead of you in your office, church, marriage, carrier etc is your angel. You call them by different names such as Mentors, Directors, Managers, Shepherds, Role Models etc. To drive down this point, Exodus 23:22 says:

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared”

Now, this point en-capsules others because it gives us in summary who an angel is in relation to man. From this we are able to deduce that;

-angels are ahead of us in other words, they are leaders i.e. people who have either been or on the way to your destination.

-angels are keepers. You shouldn’t find it hard agreeing with me that Police men/women are angel too. Your parents are your angels. Your Pastor is your angel etc. By the time you do your arithmetic of who your angels really are, you will agree with scriptures that you have an innumerable number of them around you pa time.

-angels know where you both ought to be and where you are going. They know what’s ahead so, they try stopping you. Sometimes thugs could even be your angel put in place to stop or prevent you from an impending accident. You remember Balaam’s ass in Numbers 22:27-28 how it suddenly stopped as Balaam travelled with it so as to prevent Balaam from being killed. In verse 33, the death confirmed that Balaam would have been a dead man save that his ass turned away. In the same vein, your car could turn away from death by developing a fault.

By these and many more you can get to know your angels when they put on animate or inanimate forms but there is something more.

SENSITIVITY IS KEY

You need to be very sensitive to catch this signal. That boss of yours that you don’t like because of the way he either talks to you or despitefully uses you is your angel and he is only doing his work. Your Pastor seems to be strict so you have decided to work your transfer, don’t run away from your angel. Don’t run away from home, your parents or guardian are your angels etc. Remember what David said in Psalm 23:4b;

“...thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”

All the tortures as it were that you are getting now is for your future comforts so, don’t despise it. To guide you to your angel, I have served as your angel. You go and serve as someone else’ angel by sharing this piece with him/her. However, watch out for evil angels. How do you know them? Simply by their mission and belief.

Mission 

"The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy..." John 10:10

 Also their belief system;  

 "...believe not every spirit, but try the spirit whether they be of God...every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God..." 1John 4:1-3.

CHEER UP

I have good news for somebody reading this epistle now, those that have said you are nowhere to be found, those that were saying your contribution is not necessary and those saying you should shut up are the once going to usher you to your high table in JESUS name. I don’t know what has been mocking your destiny that thing is watching you move freely to the top in JESUS name.

That is why I will quickly be showing you something from one of the events that occurred during the ministry of JESUS.

“…many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, son of David have mercy on me. JESUS stopped and said call him, so they said to the blind man, CHEER UP, on your feet, he is calling you...” Mark 10v46-52

I want to believe you are familiar with this story. Blind Bartimeus called on JESUS while HE was passing by and asked him for help but the people shut him down. Fortunately for him while he called the more JESUS took notice of him and sent for him. Those who shut him down were his messenger when his voice eventually reached JESUS. They told him to cheer up and became his escort to JESUS.

I will like for you to know that because all things revolves around JESUS, when HE stood still every other thing stood still, not even HIS disciples could go ahead not to talk of the crowed. Just because the one they were following stood still for the sake of one blind nonentity as it were, everybody had to stand still to watch this man being crowned. You need to hear this; I see the universe standing still because you are being crowned now.

Now how do I relate this story to my life you might ask? Use the following few keys;

WHAT IS BLINDNESS?

When a man is blind in this context of study, it means that man can’t see ahead, his future is blurred. So, he doesn’t know what to do since he can’t see is destination; he doesn’t have anywhere to plan reaching. He is motionless and stagnant which of course is the mother of frustration. Using a modern day word, blindness is the same as being without a vision. So, blindness is not limited to the closed eye, there are many with their eyes open but can’t see anything.

DO YOU NEED HELP?

You will realize that the blind man in our text realized his need for help and he called for it from the only one who could help him and he didn’t allow the snubbing of the mockers to stop him. He cried the more we were told. That’s why I know that for somebody digesting this message now, you are gaining your freedom now in JESUS name. Please keep calling him until HE takes notice of you but I will like for you to know that JESUS isn’t deaf, HE only wants to see you being eaten up by the zeal of what you are gunning for. The Bible says who shall separate us from the love of CHRIST? Shall trouble or hardship, persecution or famine, nakedness or danger etc Romans 8:35 so, don’t mind those saying you are wasting your time, just keep calling HIM, HE will send for you sooner than anticipated.

What am I passing across to you in this message? Just that you should cheer up and be persistence in your calling, be not weary in well doing for in due season you will get your reward/harvest, Galatians 6v9.

I see GOD taking notice of you from now on as you keep pressing consistently and all who have looked down on you will begin to look up to you. CHEER UP, you are getting there, AMEN.

DOUBT CONQUERED

Faith: God has promised and I believe...
Doubt: What if He doesn't....
Faith: Even if He doesn't...I still believe Him

Faith will always have the last say and be the last man standing concerning any situation or circumstance you commit to God.

Conclusively,  always remember that satan is still in the business of painting God in that horrible light of not being faithful to His word, Gen 3:1-5. Holding on to Him a little more will make all the difference. Good morning happy new month and have a great day.
