The Seed as a Spirit

The real seed is invisible to our naked eyes, John 4v24.

“God is a Spirit...”

On the other hand fruits are visible and tangible. However we have earlier established that God is the parent seed. This fact brings us to a very vital part of our discussion. Scripture says that by your fruit will you be identified. Not by their seed, leaves, stems, roots etc but by their fruit, Matthew 7v16-20. Trees could be mistaken for each other but you can make such mistakes with fruits. Until you begin to fruit your seed cannot be 100% determined.

That is why so many might be claiming to be Christians but their fruit will judge them, Matthew 7v21. Hence Galatians 5v22-23 spells out the fruits that are expected of you as children of God such as Love, Meekness, Joy, Peace, Gentleness, Faith, Goodness, Temperance, Long suffering. John 15v2 reveals that it is your ability to bear these fruits that validates your place in God’s agenda and much in Heaven.

Furthermore, you might want to ask, do I need an identity to earn a place in God? Yes! Scripture says, while men slept his enemy (the devil) came and sowed tares (weeds) among the good seeds that had been sown in them, Matthew 13v24-25. I guess you are familiar with the parable of the wheat and tares. When the servants of the original sower asked their master if they could go ahead and uproot the tares he said no, lest while they gathered them, they mistakenly uproot the wheat (good seeds) too. He said,

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, gather ye together the first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” Matthew 13v30

Are you getting the sequence? All seeds are permitted to grow until harvest. This accounts for why you see the wicked seemingly prospering alongside the righteous. In some cases the righteous may even seem not to be making any progress as such. It is because He doesn’t want to loose any of His own to the carelessness of the reapers. Like I said earlier on that tree may look alike but fruits wouldn’t deny its seeds’ nature. So that a wheat plant is not mistaken for that of a tare He waits for the fruit. You can hide for as long as you want. Your fruits will expose you and the unfortunate part is that you can’t stop it from manifesting, Matthew 7v18.

Interestingly while each seed can only produce a particular fruit after its kind, the seed of God in man produces divers fruits as we see in Galatians 5v22-23. It is well with you.
