LEVELS OF FAITH 1

By reason of the times we are in today, you cannot be of any relevance in any field than the word of God is to you. The bible says it is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path, Psalms 119v105. Interestingly, that’s what you use in making advancement or any progress whatsoever. The word is the lamp unto your feet as you journey through this dark world of wickedness. Like Apostle John did say in 1John 5v19;

“...the whole world lies in wickedness”

I mean it doesn’t matter how expert a driver is, driving at night with his head lamps off is impossible, he is stalled. Brethren, there is no two way to it, you will get worn out without God’s word dwelling richly on your inside. Not until then, your glory is not in view and God is not committed to helping you. His word is our anchor according to Hebrews 6v18-19 through which we commit Him to act in our place, Isaiah 55v11. It is God’s word that works wonders and nothing more. Hence, to be pregnant with God’s word is to be pregnant with signs and wonders.

However, let’s quickly see the different levels of faith. This tells you that if there are different levels of faith, there will be variances in its feats per time depending on the level of faith at work at that particular point in time. So starting with the least;

NO FAITH

“...why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have NO FAITH?” Mark 4v40

Fear is a sign that you are faith bankrupt. When you are beginning to sense fear, check your faith gauge it’s on the reserve level about to logout. We have more people in this class of faith in the body of Christ today and that’s why our impact is less felt in the world.

There is no level of faith that doesn’t produce its dividends. The “no faith” level produces in abundance NOTHING and that’s why many in the body of Christ have no proofs for their salvation. Hebrews 4v2 says;

“For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them, but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it”

We have among us many a Christian, church workers even word loaded without anything to show because faith was absent in their mixture. The word doesn’t profit us until it is been mixed with faith. Hebrews 11v6 says

“For without faith it is impossible to please Him...”

 Now, how can you receive from someone you have not pleased? If you are awarded a contract, your client is not obliged to fully pay you until you have satisfied him. In the same vein, God is not committed to reward or fulfil His promises to you until you have pleased him by fulfilling your part of the whole deal, “...have faith in God” Mark 11v22.

Moreover, a young man was brought to Jesus’ disciples in His absence for deliverance from a deaf and dumb demon but they couldn’t because of the unbelief of the people surrounding them. When Jesus came, the case was reported to Him and He said;

“...o faithless generation...” Mark 9v19

However He didn’t attack His disciples because He knew that their inability to cast out the devil was the people’s unbelief and not theirs’. So, He had to first of all heal the boy’s fathers’ faith before sending out the demon. God cannot help you without your commitment of faith even as small as a mustard seed.

Moreover, you know that you need the master to heal your faith now, you had better cry unto Him saying “Father please heal my faith, help my faith”. He will respond immediately but you need to start exercising it starting with small things and then you keep growing else you will be dormant again.
