IDENTIFY RHEMA

Romans 10:17 says;

“...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”

You must be able to identify rhema when He shows up. Save for the grace of God on the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5, he would have missed the only platform available to ride on the wings of rhema. This is where many are stock today, they are busy complaining about this or that relative is doing well as it were and is not helping them. They spend most of their time complaining about the economy to which they have not contributed anything thereby being a liability instead of being an asset.

The scripture above states that, faith i.e. the substance of the things hoped for comes by identifying rhema; until then your hope wouldn’t materialize. You must come to that point in your life when you can discern the spirit behind every word coming in your direction. Your faith signature must be appended for you to be able to take possession of your desires.

To identify rhema; note that it will ALWAYS have its root in the word of God, the Bible. To many this single criteria is a peg in their throat because they are too lazy to study the Bible. The bible is the encyclopaedia of life’s problems both the ones that are now and the ones that are still to come, 1Timothy 4:8 says;

“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come”

God is the Beginning, Centre and the End of all that is and that will ever be. The day I caught the rhema that because God is the Alpha and Omega, He is both in my yesterday, today and tomorrow I experienced an unexplainable level of peace; since then I have been riding on the wings of that rhema. Spend quality time with the word, it is more important than any other thing you might find important. Studying the word day and night must have the No.1 priority in your life. Having studied and digested it give you that edge I have been talking to you about. At this point you will know rhema when it comes.

Conclusively, rhema comes into your mind as words or picture through anybody, situations etc but in most cases God’s Generals which in ALL cases aligns with God’s word (the bible). Also you must guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life (good and bad), Proverbs 4v23. Watch what comes into your mind lest your will be defiled.

 

ACT ON RHEMA IMMEDIATELY

It is not enough for you to identify rhema but you must act immediately. You must embrace it. As little as a silent amen will go a very long way. As soon as it drops in your mind, act and don’t second guess. Shout if you’ve to at least to show your acknowledgement of the rhema that has come to you. Hebrew 10:38 says;

“Now the just shall live by faith...”

From the moment you gave your life to Jesus, your nutritional diet changed. You are now born of the Spirit so you are a spirit. Therefore, because you (a Spirit) live in a body cannot survive/live by bread (which is for the body) alone; your Spirit will be malnourished, Matthew 4:4. This unfortunately is the case in the body of Christ today. Many are robust bodily which profits little but are thin and malnourished spiritually which unfortunately for them holds the promise of the life which they now live and the one which is to come, 1Timothy 4:8

Many today spend so much nourishing the body leaving their spirit (their real being) malnourished. This is why there is little or no profound results to show for the efforts of the Church to vitalize the world because it is a well nourished Spirit that gives life.

Furthermore, the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34 acted on the rhema that had come to her, scripture says;

“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment”

Did you hear that? She first of all heard or identified rhema then took a second step not minding the circumstances around her; she went in the press. Finally she touched Jesus. These were all acts that emanated from her knowledge of rhema. I can go and on like that giving you different instances where rhema was either eagerly or reluctantly acted upon with tremendous results. Apostle Peter said after rhema came to him to show his embrace even though reluctant;

“...at thy word I will let down the net” Luke 5:5b

You should be familiar with the story; the end result of that reluctant act taken on the rhema that came to Peter was mind blowing.

Conclusively, you must be very active; you can’t afford to sleep off like the ten virgin in any meeting because you don’t know when your rhema will arrive. You wouldn’t miss it in Jesus name.
