GREATNESS

I will be using this bullet to kill so many birds because trying to say everything about the blessings of riding on the wings of rhema is like trying to drain the ocean which of course is an undoubting impossible mission. It is a mission whose end is already known from the beginning.

However by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, let’s conclude using Hebrews 11:32-40 and it reads thus;

“And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again...And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect”

Going through the scripture above you will notice it’s a catalogue of men and women who wrath extraordinary feats on the wings of rhema. When God wants to use a man or woman He sends rhema to him or her and unto fulfilment they go. Another thing you’ll notice is that so many have been talked about early in that chapter to an extent that the writer was lost amidst them; he said “And what shall I more say?”. This question arose as a result of so much to say. He goes on to conclude that time will fail him if he dare try to exhaust the list.

I must confess the same thing applied to me as I wrote on the point before this conclusion; I felt the same way. It is written that the feats of Jesus could not all be recorded because if it were recorded, the whole world wouldn’t contain its book. Such is this life I am introducing to you; life on the wings of rhema. Your feats will be so numerous that it wouldn’t be countable.

Moreover, in the scripture above you will note a number of exploits being accomplished on the wings of rhema such as;

Ø Subduing kingdoms

Ø Wroughting righteousness

Ø Stopping the mouths of lions

Ø Quenched the violence of fire

Ø Escaping the edge of the sword

Ø Turning to flight the armies of the aliens

Ø Made strong out weakness just to mention a few.

Hence I will be sharing with something more interesting about this whole subject but before I move on, permit me to clarify that feats on the wings of rhema is not exclusive to men and women of God as it were but to all who believe, Mark 16:17-18 says;

“AND THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLW THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”

Hence, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour; you are part a beneficiary of that provision on the wings of rhema. You might want to ask “but why as it not been work for me all these while?” It is simple, Philemon 1:6 says;

“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”

In other words, there must be an acknowledging of the provision first before it can take effect. Until your signature of acknowledgement has been appended, the good things on the wings of rhema cannot be effectual. However, until you know the truth, you can’t be aware of any need to append your signature of acknowledgement. Be wise!
