PROVOKING OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN

May I crave your indulgence that you pay rapt attention to this section because the law that open the heavens has no regards for ignorance which has made many to open heavens of brimstone upon themselves but that wouldn't be your portion in Jesus name. The windows of heaven don’t just fling opened. They require someone to place an order for it. For the windows of heaven to react there must be an action on the recipient’s side. Scripture says that things must first be bond on earth before they are bond in heaven and not the other way round.

KEYS TO OPENING WINDOWS OF HEAVEN TO SELF DETRIMENT

Hence, in other to avoid opening the windows of heaven to my disadvantage what the keys to opening it to my disadvantage? I will just pick out two from the references I made to Genesis 6, 7&19;

Ø Firstly, Genesis 6v5 says:

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”

The open heaven of flood that wiped out that generation was provoked by wickedness and evil thoughts. Once your thoughts and acts are beginning to have savours of wickedness and evil, know that you are provoking the opening of unpleasant windows of heaven.

Ø Secondly, Genesis 19v24-25 says:

“Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground”

Why did God have to do this to a people He created? Has He no mercy again? These and many more questions might be rolling through your mind now. The recipient provoked the received, Genesis 18v20 says:

“...Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous”

Also Genesis 13v13 states that;

“...the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly”

They were so neck-deep in adultery that they wanted to sleep with angels. Sin i.e. every act of unrighteousness is key to provoking an opening of the windows of heaven to your disadvantage.

Conclusively, not to dwell too much on what we are not to do, let us lay hold on the keys to provoking an open heaven to your advantage.

Prayer Point

Father, please don't let open upon myself open heavens for curses in Jesus name.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (5)

Conclusively on the blessings that accrue when the windows of heaven are opened;

6. Vision is restored. Scripture says that people perish where there is no vision, Proverbs 29v18. A man in Mark 10v46-52 had stayed so long with blindness that it had become his first name. He was called “Blind Bartemaeus” but when the windows of heaven opened over him his vision was restored and the dream of perishing was aborted. Vision is the hallmark of life. However, many have sight but no vision while some have vision and no sight. The later is preferable however; under an open heaven both are restored.

7. Storms are stilled. Mark 3v35-41 records an account of Jesus and His disciples travelling in a ship and a great storm arouse along the line. Jesus was sleeping while the disciples tried to still the storm using their intellect to no avail. Then they requested for an open heaven, Jesus went up board and the storm was over. That is why I know that your storms are over now in Jesus name.

8. Journeys are shortened. The disciples of Jesus were said to have been travelling on a boat but they were being restricted or slowed-down by a storm. However, Jesus came walking on that same storm to meet them and scripture records that they immediately got to their destination as soon as he stepped into the boat, John 6v19-21.

Conclusively, the list of events that take place when the windows of heaven open is inexhaustible however, just as there is what to do to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven for curses there are things to do to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven for the blessings highlighted above and many more.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (4)

OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN FOR BLESSINGS

In my introduction I said that there are two sides to the windows of heaven and they are the ugly and good sides. We didn’t dwell much on the ugly side because I didn’t want your minds to brood over it let alone producing however, we need not be ignorant of the vices of the devil.

For every original, there is a counterfeit but while the devil rules the later world God rules the former. Hence let’s see what happens when the windows of heaven open on a man’s life.

1. Divine visitation will be experienced. In 2Chronicles 1v7 God was said to have visited King Solomon as the windows of heaven were open over him.

2. Wealth is being released. In 2Chronicles 1v14-17, when the windows of heaven opens on a man’s life like it is doing for you now, the power to get wealth is being released. In other words, whatever you touch henceforth will bring you gain monetarily and otherwise.

3. Health is being restored. In John 5v1-12, we read the account of a man who had lived with a predicament for about thirty-eight years. He had lost hope. All he was waiting for was death. He was angry with his family because they couldn’t just help. As for him, he was finished. But the windows of heaven opened over him and that was the end of his protracted illness.

4. Issues are being resolved. This is for you; I don’t care for how long that issue has lasted it is being resolved now in Jesus name. This happens when the windows of heaven open. How come I am this certain? In Mark 5v25-29, there we read the account of a woman with the issue of blood and had lived with it for about twelve year. She had lost everything she had to trying to solve it but to no avail until she was left with the heavens to battle with. Suddenly the windows of heaven were opened and her issue was resolved that same hour. I say to you again, I don’t care how long that issue in your marriage, carrier, ministry, work-place, court etc has lasted, they are being resolved this same hour in Jesus name.

5. Stagnation is sent packing. The windows cannot open and such things as stagnation will still be standing. Impossible! I read that when the Ark of the Covenant landed in the house of Dagon, it bowed. They set it up again but this time it didn’t just bow but it scattered, 1Samuel 5v2-4. When a King steps into his Palace all his subordinates rise-up and bow. In the same vein, when the windows of heaven opens all else either bow or take to their heels. In the case of stagnation it takes to its heel. That is why I know that it is your set time to make tremendous progress in Jesus name. How come I am this sure? In Acts 3v2, a man who was born lame was laid at the gate called Beautiful which leads to the Temple had stagnation expelled at the opening of the windows of heaven. He had never crawled nor walked let alone running but when the windows of heaven opened over him, he did not only walk, he leaped and jumped. That will be your testimony soon in Jesus name.

I am walking tall in favor. All things are working together for my good. The line are falling for me in pleasant place and I am continually provoking open heavens for blessing in Jesus name.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (3)

OPEN WINDOWS OF HEAVEN FOR CURSES

Now that you know who controls the opening and shutting of heavens it is also important that you know the different types of heavens and we'll began with the windows of heaven that releases curses. The world is so disorganized today that people especially in the part of the world where I’m from troop in their millions to meetings tagged Open Heaven, Breakthrough, Deliverance etc in search of solutions to their lives issues. Unfortunately, very few enjoy the positive dividend of such meetings.

However, I wouldn’t want you to misunderstand me. I have not said that these meetings aren’t good but the state of the mind of their attendees has doomed them for the curse or negative consequence of such meetings. For instance, everyone can be praying for an open heaven but what individual gets is essentially a result of the state of mind with which it is being provoked.

In Genesis 6&7, our forefathers provoked upon themselves an open heaven of curses which wiped them out completely. Also in Genesis 19 we read the account of how two cities, Sodom and Gomorrah were burnt to ashes by an open heaven. What am I trying to pass across? It is simple, that the windows of heaven can pour out destruction as well as blessing.

For instance, it could be so annoying when you have been getting ready for a party all day and someone mistakenly pours out through the window oily water as you made to pass through their backyard. On the other hand, if you were on fire and someone mistakenly poured cooled water on you through the window as you ran through their backyard to your house, I think this is better, since you were actually running to your house to quench the heat with that same water.

In the same vein, the windows of heaven could be destructive when provoked unlawfully. In other words, just like anyone who is a Priest is forbidden from entering the sacred place of the Temple where sacrifices are being offered,  if you are not a child of God you will only be heaping on yourself coals of fire if you try to provoke an opening of the windows of heaven.

However, there is one more point I will like us to note and that is the fact that whenever the windows of heaven are activated by whichever means of provocation it releases abundance. It is my prayer that you wouldn’t provoke abundance of curse rather it will be blessings in abundance.

Father, don't let me provoke the windows of heaven to my disadvantage.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (2)

GOD CONTROLS THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN

God controls the times and seasons according to Daniel 2v21. He also controls events of life, Isaiah 45v7 says;

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things”

For this cause, without Him you can do nothing, John 15v5. Also, Psalms 127v1 says;

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain”

All these are to drive down my point that God controls all things. However, because God controls seasons it can appear in either of two forms depending on His mode which is largely determined by the recipient. It could be either good or bad. Let’s have a look at similar event from scriptures when God opened the windows of heaven for destruction and then for good but we’ll dwell more on the good side.

Prayer Point

Lord Jesus, because you are the controller of times, seasons and the heavens. Command them all to work in my favor from now on.

WINDOWS OF HEAVEN (1)

 
As a way of introduction permit me to say that God will never speak a non-result oriented word in other words, God speaks result-pregnant words any time and every time He speaks. That is why I will admonish that you pay rapt attention to this series of thoughts the Holy Spirit will be sharing with you for the next few days...It is a new dawn for you!

As I took my regular early morning bath in the Word today, a phrase caught my attention and I never stopped thinking about or better put meditating on it. Of course the Holy Spirit came to my rescues as He said that’s God’s word to me for the moment and it will outlive me if Jesus tarries. This prompted me to share it with you because I know it will bless you as well. 

Firstly, I will like to draw your attention to the carefully selected words in the phrase “windows of Heaven” and that is the fact that Heaven is a shelter. In Isaiah 66v1 God says;

“...The heaven is My throne...”

Hence, God is the overall covering of heaven. Jesus is the door according to John 10v7 or you can call Him the way according to John 14v6 through which you can reach God who makes up the inside and outside of Heaven. Jesus according to John 10v1,7&9 is the controller of what or who goes in and comes out through the door of Heaven. While God controls the windows of Heaven and I will be dwelling on this truth by the help of the Holy Ghost.

Malachi 3v10 says;

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

When God talks about opening the windows of heaven through which He will pour out blessings on whoever meets His standard, what does He mean? First of all, we need to know that God owns all things and that in abundance, John 10v10b. When God gives, He gives in abundance. You can ask King Solomon in 2Chronicles 1v14-17. God knows no such thing as little because He is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that you can ever imagine or ask, Ephesians 3v20.

Why does God need to pour through the window and not just give through the door? By virtue of salvation the door is no more a hindrance to accessing God directly. How do I know?  Jesus i.e. the Door said in John 16v26-27:

“At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God”

Jesus is saying that He doesn’t need to stand as an intermediary between you and God that God will respond to you because He loves you. Now when I was younger and we had to pass through someone window side in the village, we make it very snappy so as not to run into waste or excess water being poured out through the window.

In the same vein, Psalms 23v5 unveils to us that God deals in overflow and that is why He doesn’t need to open the door to bless you. If you wouldn’t be able to contain the window-blessing then the door-blessing will sweep you off your foot. This brings us to our core subject in this study and that is looking at what happens when God opens the window of Heaven. We will look at the negative consequences it has had as well as the positive consequences.

I have the life of God. I am not my own but Gods' therefore I refuse to be ordinary in Jesus name.

VISION, THE HALLMARK OF LIFE!!! (3)

Here comes the conclusion of the matter and interestingly better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.

VISION

These are underlying facts. Vision goes beyond just seeing with your naked eyes. In other words, you can have your sight in place yet be blind. It has more to do with being able to see into the future and plan for the unseen. Vision helps you eradicate unnecessary struggles of life others have entangled themselves with. You must therefore have a vision of your own. You cannot afford to merely exist on this planet earth. You were born to live and not to survive.

Kathryn Kuma said “The worst thing that can ever happen to a man is to have his sight and not have a vision”. In other words, vision is paramount. Hence vision recreates or remoulds your mentality and in turns your character which differentiates you from every other man on earth.

Friends, you are what you see. Whatever you cannot see, you are not permitted to be let alone live. What you see attracts your desires. What is your vision? Until you are able to define your vision and make moves to fulfil it, your world will remain under a siege expecting your manifestation. Only those who discover this timeless truth attain destiny and leaves marks on the sands of time. Have you heard?;

-that a man or woman without at least a vision is a potential beggar, Mark 5v46b

-that a man or woman without a vision is immobile, demobilized and stagnant, Mark 5v46

-that without a vision just any road will lead anywhere

-that a man or woman without a vision is set on a journey leading to destruction, Proverbs, 29v18

-that without a vision you will be made to serve other people’s vision in slavery

-that life is meaningless without a vision

-that eternal joy is attached to your vision

-that you are not entitled to wealth without a vision

-that without a vision you are a potential slave or prisoner either as an individual, Judges 16v21 or as a nation, Exodus 1

-that having vision makes you a potential leader.

We can go on and on talking about the economic benefits of having vision because it is the hallmark of life.

Finally, vision being able to be defined from a grand stand determines what life holds for you as well as what you are created or born to do on earth at a time such as we are in today. However for your vision to pass the test of time, you must use it/them to answer the following question;

Ø Is it the TRUTH?

Ø Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Ø Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIP amongst all concerned?

Ø Will it be BENEFICIARY to all concerned?

You might be familiar with the questions above, for those who know the four-way test of the Rotaract club international. Let’s call it “the acid test of vision” in this context. As you perform these tests on every act of yours, your life will unfold its best and you will agree with me that “VISION IS THE HALLMARK OF LIFE”. God bless you.

SALVATION IS KEY

Until Blind Bartemeu met Jesus, he remained a beggar. There was nothing enviable about his existence. In the same vein, until you meet Jesus, your life will only deteriorate but when you meet Him life can only be moving in the upward and forward direction. So, May I use this privilege to introduce to you Jesus; the saviour of the whole world; the one who loved us even in our filthy state and died for us. However, He’s risen and He lives forever. So, for those of you who have not giving your life to Him but still do all the running’s all alone. He is beckoning to you now to come to Him and exchange your burdens for His light yoke which is rest-full. Just repeat these words after me now: Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and ask that you forgive me all my short comings. I accept you as my Lord and personal saviour now and forever, Amen.

VISION, THE HALLMARK OF LIFE!!! (2)

Good day, lets move on from where we paused yesterday;

THE DITCH OR PIT EXPERIENCE

Many in the world are presently going through this experience and finding it difficult to get out of it. They are merely existing or surviving when they ought to be living. Man lives not exist. Destiny cannot be fulfilled in the pit, that is why Joseph had to be brought out of it according to Genesis 37v28;

“...and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit...”

Why? Because dreams are not fulfilled in pits. However, just like Joseph you might not have gotten into that pit on your own, but if you are led by blind leaders you are sure of landing in the ditch and only your choice to hold unto vision, recognizing where you are per time that will get you out. So ask yourself, am I really seeing? Do I have my sight in place or better still a vision by which I move? Until your vision is in place, please don’t make that next move, you might just be stepping into a ditch covered with polythene.

In Lagos, Nigeria few years back, there were explosions at the Army cantonment of old war missiles. The blast scared many so much that they in ignorance escaped from the unknown in unknown directions. Unfortunately, they were heading for a very deep canal into which hundreds perished. They perished for lack of vision. Why and where must I run were question they didn’t find answers to before making moves? This brings us to the true definition of vision but permit me to keep you in suspense till tomorrow when we will be able to dig deep into the mystery of vision.

Prayer Point

Father, please get me out of every ditch ignorance has gotten me into by Your word in Jesus name, Amen!

VISION, THE HALLMARK OF LIFE!!! (1)

The most ridiculous question it seemed when a blind man was being asked by the greatest Physician of all time what he most desired that He (The greatest Physician) did for him. For the sake of those of you to whom this story sounds strange, I will do a quick review of it so as to open you up to its underlying secrets.

The tenth chapter of the gospel according to Saint Mark records the encounter of a blind man with the greatest physician of all time, Jesus. This man in question according to his identity was blind and had turned a roadside beggar. His name is Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus.

Hence he heard that Jesus was passing by and he called out to Him for help. I’m sure based on testimonies he must have heard about Jesus. Jesus responded as a result of his persistent call and praise of Him. He requested that the blind man be brought to Him. On getting to Jesus, He (Jesus) asked him;

“...What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?...” Marl 10v51

The blind man answered without hesitation;

“...Lord, that I might receive my sight” Mark 10v51b

Though the question might have sounded ridiculous in the real sense of it or what could a blind man have earnestly desired if not his sight? Being blind restricts. As a blind person you will always need someone to take you around, you really have no choice of your own. There are some many disadvantages to being blind.

However, the question wasn’t ridiculous but intentional to prove that “Vision is the hallmark of life” and it is a matter of choice.

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope” Romans 15v4.

Our choice at every road block is the chief determinant of either scaling or crashing there. And your understanding of the hallmarks of life determines your choice as well as setting priorities. How do you place your priorities? This is one question you must ask yourself at the downing of every new day. I told some of my boys, until you have defined your purpose in life living, going through traffic jams, hunger, abuse, embarrassments and harassments etc is not worth it. Purpose is full direction oriented.

It is therefore important I let you know that every blind man or woman is a potential beggar in one way or the other and this, not necessarily by the road side or in the public. On the other hand, if you are a beggar in any way, there must be something you are not seeing and that’s why I am directed to produce this material for you. Let’s touch a few points;

Choice: Life is a matter of choice, Moses in Deuteronomy 30v19 said;

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”

In other words, what you get out of life whether good or bad is a direct result of your choice. Now, everything you desire or will ever desire must be arranged in their order of importance which is referred to as the “Scale of Preference” in economics. Learn to put first things first. If this is done properly you will agree with me that the most important choice that tops your list is capable of producing others.

The man used in our case study could have asked for money, wife or children but he knew that just as being blind had rendered almost every other part of him useless, he could achieve so much if he had his sight which is Vision. Scriptures say that people perish more when vision is absent, Proverbs 29v18. Sight is very important to succeed in life without which any road will lead just anywhere. This takes us into one of the dangers that results from lack of vision and I will trash that tomorrow but pray the following prayer with all your heart saying;

Father, please correct my sight in Jesus name, Amen!

WHEN JESUS SAYS THANK YOU (3)

Hope your night was good however, I will be concluding this series today but it is a message you will have to go over again and again so as to get a full grasp of what the Lord is communicating to you. Lets move on;

C. God will say thank you. Having fulfilled purpose with Peter’s boat Jesus decided to say thank you. You know God will never ask from you what He has not empowered you to give. God is not too big to say thank you and when He says “thank you” you experience miracles that touches your entire life.

The boat of Peter that was once not productive began to produce exceedingly and abundantly above expected in the first place, Luke 5v6 says;

“...they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake”

His business blossomed to such an extent that he couldn’t handle it alone; he had to involve partners, Luke 5v7 says;

“And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink”

           

 This will be your testimony soon. You will break limits in Jesus name, Amen!

Hence, as I conclude there is a part I will like that you pay very close attention to. And that has to do with the portion of his boat he released to Jesus and the little faith he expressed when Jesus asked him to lunch a bit into the deep and cast his net(s) but he cast his net, Luke 5v4-5;

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net”

But because God had fulfilled purpose with his boat, He joined His faith with Peters’ and he got a net breaking and boat sinking blessing such that the one left home on a fishing spree for just his family ended up a fish merchant. What do you really want from your life? Where are you really going? 

Finally, Peter having discovered the secret of divine prosperity decided to give the whole boat and all that he has become to Jesus, Luke 5v11 says;

“And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him”

Whatever you forsake for Christ will follow you in a hundred fold as in Matthew 19v29 saying;

“And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life”

For that singular act, today everywhere the bible is being read Peter is a reference point because he caught and acted promptly on a revelation. You can be a reference point for the world if you’ll act fast now. This brings us to the summary of all we’ve been discussing; put God first in all that you do, Matthew 6v33 says;

“...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”

In other words, let God’s purpose which is to influence and colonize the earth with Heaven’s culture become paramount to you. Let it become your driving force. Let it be the only reason why you live, rise up in the morning and even set out from home and all that you are struggling to get (Health, wealth etc) will come to you when God says “thank you”.

Father, by virtue of these revelation and secret code into your vault of greatness, I give you all that I have and am. Amen!

WHEN JESUS SAYS THANK YOU (2)

YOU HAVE A BOAT AND GOD NEEDS IT

When Jesus was through using Peter’s boat He resolved to saying thank you to Peter because Peter’s boat has fulfilled the purpose of the Master however, following are a few thoughts that will catapult you into glory within a twinkle of an eye when Jesus decides to say thank you for your service:

A. God will always need a platform or vessel as you may know it, Ezekiel 22v30 affirms this fact! But can’t God function outside man? No! God is a Spirit and to reckon with a world such as we are in today He needs a body (man/woman). That is why we are called His temple. God has no physical hands, legs, etc so He needs one who has these facilities to function here.

Man is God’s direct link with the world and God will always need man to tabernacle on earth else the world will be upside down. Hear this; as far as God’s business is concerned on earth He is indispensable of man. Hardly can one thrive without the other on earth.

The summary of this matter is that God needs you and the earlier you respond to His call the better for you. if you don’t respond as a full man you will as a maimed man, Isaiah 45v22-23; He as sworn by Himself or you can ask Jonah, Jonah 1 or Paul, Acts 9; they will tell you that it’s better to respond easily than to be forced by God.

B. A boat in your case may be your Carrier, Business, Gifts or Talents, Time even your comfort zone, home, house etc. Interestingly, we don’t know when God is signifying interest in any of these until we lose it out rightly. However we can avoid this from happening, once you notice your inability to produce with any of these types of boat, turn it over to God for His use.

Peter thought he was whiling away time not knowing that he was actually fulfilling purpose. Some turn their boats over to God partially, in Peter’s case it was partial and he got a boat sinking and net breaking result. God’s glory in the days of Moses and so on came down into the Temple in the same vein; you are a mobile tabernacle by design. A carrier of God’s glory. I step out every day with such mentality and it has shaped my life.

Confession

Father, I give-up my boat for your purpose and myself at your service all the days of my life.

WHEN JESUS SAYS THANK YOU (1)

GOD COUNTS ON YOU

Jesus during His earthly ministry saw the need to influence the world with Heaven’s culture just like the world is in a dare need of it today. So He went about seeking platforms and wherever He found one He took advantage of it.

Hence Luke 5v1-9 records one of those platforms He took advantage of. But before I go too far, let me paint a picture of such platforms as sought by the Master today, Ezekiel 22v30 says;

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none”

In other words, God is always on the outlook for platforms and these platforms are men and women amongst which you are. Hence, during Christ’s earthly ministry, Jesus sought for men who could give Him a place in their lives through which He could showcase His business which was to colonize the world with Heaven’s culture through teaching.

In Luke 5v1-9, Jesus found the empty and unproductive boat of Peter a platform to reach a crowd or His world as it applies today. Peter’s boat or life as it were wasn’t giving him any dividend either but despite his toiling through the night he gave his boat to Jesus and remained at His service in other to keep the boat from rowing away.

I have good news for you already, though your life has produced nothing up till date, life has become so frustrating for you and you are about giving up; you are already washing your net to retire home with stories of futility. God has sent me to tell you that that boat or life of yours will produce exceedingly and abundantly above all that you can ever imagine.

Prayer Point

Father, in anyway I have disappointed You in not taking cognizance of the fact that You are counting on me please forgive me; take Your rightful place in my life from now in Jesus name, Amen!

IN THE COMPANY OF JESUS (2)

Proceeding from where I paused yesterday brethren;

Thirdly, it doesn’t matter how experienced you are in that field of yours or that business of yours, JESUS knows more than you do and will always be available to correct every wrong of yours if you call on HIM. Go ahead and call on HIM now and HE will not delay in coming to your rescue. Just say LORD JESUS HELP ME. Fear is not the solution but a call on HIM will do it all.

Furthermore, your boat can be your home, marriage, children, business, job and everything that concerns you, make sure JESUS is with you in your boat because only HIS presence in your boat will guarantees you safe journey in life. In other words you must be born again.

Moreover, let me add that with JESUS in your boat, HE takes care of the fare because HE was the idea behind you setting out, how do I know this? If you look at the book of Jonah1:3 The bible makes it clear that Jonah rose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, he went to down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish; SO HE PAID THE FARE… This brings us to another point that your security in the journey of life  is only guaranteed in the presence of GOD and anything outside that will only birth frustration. Also that you must be careful the people you call your friends, they might be running away from GOD like Jonah and will cause you havoc. Your fare is paid by the MASTER, not you, every endeavor you find yourself paying for in life is your fault. We make the mistake of for instance borrowing and expecting the MASTER to pay it, HE will not do that because HE gave an outright instruction that we should not borrow, we will pay dearly for every wrong step we take in life. Unfortunately this as claimed many lives, in other words make sure JESUS is the initiator of everything you will ever lunch into for the rest of your life.

In conclusion, no journey can be successful without JESUS in that boat. It is with HIM that life delivers to you its best cheaply. Hence, do you already have HIM in your boat and still living in fear and struggling with battles you can’t obviously win alone. Just go for HIM now and ask for HIS help. But if you have never given your life to HIM then say this prayer of subscription and you will be connected immediately;

LORD JESUS I AM A SINNER, PLEASE FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS, I HEREBY ACCEPT YOU AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. AMEN.

Congratulations and welcome to EDEN where every trip you make is in the convoy of the LORD JESUS with your safety guaranteed. Henceforth, that business of yours will begin to thrive regardless of any economy crisis, your marriage will be blissful and your children will not be wayward, your promotion will be rapid. In fact, ALL THINGS WILL BEGIN TO WORK IN YOUR FAVOR. BE GOOD.

IN THE COMPANY OF JESUS (1)

Good to be with you again. I will like you to know that it is God's grace that has kept you therefore, be grateful to God. I have thoughts from God for your well being;

In an ancient event, our LORD JESUS had just finished preaching and HE thought it will be good for those on the other side of the river to benefit from the message HE preached then He said to His disciple, "let us cross over to the other side of the river". HE entered a ship in the company of other small boats and went straight to the lower deck to rest before arriving to preach on the other side of the river.

They started sailing but as they sailed, a storm arose, it was so terrible that water began to enter into the ship and that big thing was being tossed around on the sea like a piece of paper. The captain of the ship tried all they knew about sailing and controlling the ship amidst storm but all their sailing philosophies proved abortive, then they remembered that the miracle worker is sleeping in the lower deck. They sent for HIM, and HE came up just stretched out HIS hand and said “peace be still” immediately the storm ceased. See Mark 4:35-40 

We are to learn a few lessons from this real life story;

Firstly, let us know that with JESUS in our boats does not automatically expel the storms of life. In other words, that you are a Christian doesn’t separate you from the trouble attempts of the enemies but the good news is that you will not be overpowered by their raging storm. The bible says that we are more than conquerors, Romans 8v37 and acknowledging the presence of JESUS in your boat is the secret to your victory over any form of storm in life.

Secondly, that the storm is allowed by GOD to make you and strengthen you. The bible says count it all joy when you go through divers trials and temptation, James 1v2 it is all to prove you. Gold comes impure but it is it’s proving through the fire that makes the expensive commodity called gold. So will you be if you allow the storm to do its job, you will come out expensive and shining.

Congratulations God's word is coming to you live and not as an archive so, lets move on from where we stopped yesterday.

That there is a need to be grounded in Christ, so as to have old things pass away as well all things becoming new

That the people who enjoy the full benefit of this scripture are people who remain partners of Christ regardless of anything

That these partners are people who pattern their live after Christ

That it will take a romantic relationship with the word of God for you to really “be in Christ”

That you are approved on the ground of personal studies, 2Timothy 2v15

Joshua 1v8 is an eye opener to building a bridge from new birth to God’s treasure house etc.

Conclusively, the full benefit of our opening scripture is only accessible through a very close walk with Christ because things become new for only those who are grounded in Christ. And for you to successfully ground yourself in Him you must become a word addict, please study to show yourself approved. In other words your study is a proof that you are entitled to the new things new birth offers.

Just like the Holy Spirit did to me, I want to believe He has been able to with these few thoughts help you break 2Corinthians 5v17 into smaller bits for your easy consumption.

But in case you are not yet born again, you have never given your life to Christ or you have even back-slid say this prayer; Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I have done.... forgive all now as I accept You as my Lord and personal savior. Rule my life henceforth, Amen!

Congratulations, I admonish that you locate a bible believing and teaching church and start attending. Don’t miss bible study and Sunday school meetings because that’s the only growth prescription you have as the Holy Spirit broods over you. Get devotionals and do personal studies because you will be approved according to 2Timothy 2v15 on the ground of personal study. Then you can now begin to enjoy the benefits of the few thought I have shared with you in this epistle. Be good!

IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST (1)

Friends, do you know that I always count it a great privilege sharing with you these truths, enlightening your spirit mind for a prosperous living on earth because your will only prosper and be in good health even as thy soul prospers. I am sent to nourish your soul? What a joy to be with you again today.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold all things are become new” 2Corinthians 5v17

Life could be so miserable when we don’t know what to do at certain junctions. The bible says that because the foolish man does not know how to go to the city, his labour weighs him down, Ecclesiastes 10v15. This simply means that there is what to do at every point in life and negligence or ignorance of that flow could spell doom.

The scripture above has been misinterpreted by many in the body of Christ today including me but thank God for the Holy Spirit who has been commissioned to lead us into all truths as well as teach us, John 16v13-15. In the early hours of today, He drew my attention to three words from the above scripture and gave me a further break down for easy consumption. The words are “...be in Christ...” which the New International Version puts as “...belong to Christ...”

There are so many in the body of Christ who are not really in Christ because you can’t to be in a relationship with someone and not have his or her details. This scripture is being thought to be meant for new converts which could be true in a sense but the higher truth is that was directed to matured  or growing Christians. Belonging to Christ means to be grounded in Him. The new convert still needs to be tutored as well growing to fully partake of the tremendous blessing this scripture holds for them. 2Timothy 2v15 says;

“Study to show yourself approved unto God...”

God himself does your accreditation to benefit from the blessings of the above scripture. He said if any man be in Christ which means some processes are involved in reaching that height. What am I trying to drive down by this revelation then?

Being in Christ must be seen as a command from Christ because there is always a need for us to locate our place in Him, Colossians 3v10b says...but Christ is all and in all;

That though old things are passed away there is a need for a filling with new things

That the safest place to be is in Christ

That there is a cogent need for nurturing the new converts to attain to the cut off mark of God.
