THE AMBASSADORIAL WALK (2)

Hope you had a great night rest. Let me continue from where we stopped yesterday by saying that, for you to know where you are, get to know where Jesus is, Ephesians 2v5-6;

“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”

Where is He seated presently since we are made to sit together with Him? Ephesians 1v20-22;

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come”

You can’t be seated at this level and still be harassed by the devil. I have the life of Christ and its driving me wild. Are you catching it at all? Jesus said in Mark 3v27;

"No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house"

In other word, anything that want to get at us who are in Christ (Our strong tower) will have to first of all disarm Christ which is absolute impossible. This should immediately eradicate a lot of worries in you. Good to know that we are secured in Christ.

Your spiritual walk gauge

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Philippians 2v4-5

Many today have been bitten by the desire to make parallel ends meet which is absolutely impossible. There is a particular life we are called to live as Ambassadors of Christ which is and will always be parallel to the world’s pattern. From the above scripture we are given the main menu that must govern our walk as Ambassador or in the spirit.

We established that your walk with God will only be productive if it is by faith or in the spirit. Even Christians when asked find it difficult to answer straight about their walk with God because they don’t know the measuring line.

I once said that God will not be pleased with any other than sons according to Matthew 3v17 i.e. those who measure up to the standard of His Son Jesus Christ. So the son of God is the measuring standard for all Ambassadors of Christ. That is why He advises that you carry His kind of mind. Hence, it is your spiritual walk that qualifies you for son-ship. Certain things will be evident in your life if your walk with God is faulty, Galatians 5v17 says;

“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would”

In other words, just like two parallel lines the flesh can and will never be friends with the spirit because they are contrary to themselves just as you can see it stated in the scripture above. And when the flesh has the upper hand in your life Galatians 5v19-21 states that certain attributes will be main manifest such as;

“Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”

It is indeed an endless list of horrible and unhealthy situations in which so many are trapped today. Those who walk by the spirit are never web trapped or victims of horrible and unhealthy situations and circumstances.

Contrary to the attributes of the walk in the flesh are the attributes of the walk in the spirit, Galatians 5v22-23 says;

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law”

Against the above stated is no law. In other words, your life can only go in the upward and forward direction if you live by the Spirit of God. So you know where you stand from here friends. Ambassadors of Christ love all the way. One of my Mentors said “I have never seen someone I don’t love”. What a life! Can you boldly say that you have and will never meet someone you don’t love. Hence, you love every creature of God because God is in all His creatures.

Conclusively, Ambassadors are supposed to be more of others centered than being self centered. Also, the fruit of the spirit are your direct and accessible measuring gauge for your walk in the spirit as an Ambassador of Christ. Let this mind be in you as it was in Christ, Philippians 2v5. Then it will be said of you that "like father like son".
