PATHWAY TO PROPERITY 3

Finally, the covenant platform of prosperity; let’s read Deuteronomy 8v18

“And you shall remember the LORD your GOD for it is HE who give you power to get wealth, that HE may establish HIS covenant which HE swore to your fathers, as it is this day”

I will like to inform you that prosperity is not a function or product of prayers, fasting or long time on the mountain; it is a product of an unchangeable covenant GOD had with our fore father, Abraham. Now what is the covenant? Genesis 8v22 says;

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease”

Now, we are getting closer to the real thing. From this we see that prosperity is only delivered on one condition and that is seedtime or sowing. In other words harvest will only answer to sowing not fasting and prayers, Simple!

The key seed needed to be sown is obedient after which every other things follow, how do I know? Deuteronomy 28v1 says;

“Now it shall come to pass, (it will happen, no doubt), if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your GOD, to observe carefully all HIS commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your GOD will set you high above all nations of the earth”

OBEDIENCE IS THE KEY

Mary told the disciples at the wedding of Cana “whatever HE tells you to do you just do it” and the result has ever since been terrific, John 2v5. Be ready to obey to detail ALL HIS commands, let’s see Joshua 1v8

“This book the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to ALL that is written in it, for you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success”

Remember I told you that the journey of life is dark without light; to live prosperously you must go through the way of obedience. It is one thing to know where you are going, and it is another thing to know how to get there.

And one more thing HIS command does not need to make sense to you, just do what HE says. Prosperity is a wonderful thing but you are not entitled to it if you can’t see it, what you see is what you get. That is why I want you to pray this prayer with the whole of your heart and lots of understanding, Psalm 119v18

“Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from your law”

If you can’t see it you are not entitled to becoming it, what you are today is what you saw yesterday.
