FUNDAMENTALS OF FAITH 1

Man is designed to function efficiently by leaning or taking his being from God.

v Faith is need-full

“...thou art careful and troubled about many things; but one thing is needful...” Luke 10vs41-42

Most of the things we are bothered about don’t deserve been looked upon twice. There is no amount of worrying you can exhibit that will make God to do today what He intends for tomorrow so, why worry. Jesus says; let Me do the worrying while you enjoy the dividends, Matthew 11vs28-30

The hearing of faith is most need-full and fruit-full. It contains all you will ever need. That’s what Jesus meant by it being needful. Unfortunately, we are cumbered with much serving, trying to make ends meet.

Not until you have chosen to move forward, your progress is not in view.

Let me tell you something, you are neither the Elshadai nor the Alpha and Omega so; you can never make ends meet till eternity. Don’t bother trying to do it all alone because you wouldn’t anyway. It doesn’t work that way. Man is designed to function efficiently by leaning or taking his being from God. Do you bit and leave the rest to faith.

Not until faith takes its rightful place, you are up in trouble and can’t just escape being a casualty. “...but one thing is needful” what? The hearing of faith being delivered to us through a continuous intake of God’s word.

v Faith is a choice

“...Mary hath chosen...” Luke 10vs42

Faith is never forced on anyone. Even when Jesus wanted to heal a particular man in Matthew 9vs28 had to ask the benefactor, do you believe I can do this? Not until this question is answered in faith, it remains impotent. So, it is a choice that you must consciously make. Not until you have chosen to move forward, your progress is not in view.

If Jesus, the author and finisher of faith will not

The blessings of God reaches only those who have chosen to enjoy them.

 force it down our throat, I think it is a choice that calls for consideration.  Hence no tribulation or problem can stand faith because they don’t have a choice as we have either to move forward or remain stagnant.

Finally, to survive amidst terrible times is a choice individuals’ got to make. The blessings of God reaches only those who have chosen to enjoy them, Deuteronomy 30vs19. So, wise up and make that choice now, to live by faith and you will escape the tribulations that are fast consuming the world today.
