KEEP YOUR EYES ON HIM

"...And when Peter was come down out of the ship,he walked on the water,to go to Jesus..."Matt 14v29-30"

Men suffer today mainly because they lack.  sustainability, which of course comes from the commander or commissioner. How do I achieve this?

Our opening text says that Peter got on the water quit alright and started moving towards JESUS i.e. he kept his gaze on JESUS. This means that every breakthrough that GOD grants is for the goodness and propagation of the kingdom in the live of people which of course implies that you are sowing back to JESUS who initially gave you and then HE can sow more back to you, that’s how it works in the kingdom. You are not permitted to allow Him depart from your sight if you want a sustainable ride on the storms of life.

The scripture tells us that peter took his eyes away from HIM at a point and seeing the boisterous water, he became afraid. Every time you take your eyes away from GOD and look at the crisis around you fear sets in and the devil robs you of your stand on the troubled water. One truth is that there will always be trouble around according to John 16v33. So keeping your eyes on the master is what guarantees your sustainability. Scripture further says that you can’t put your hand to the plough and look back, you are tagged as unfit. If GOD be for you, who can be against you? So if you are trusting HIM at all, please do that with all your heart and forget the crisis around you because they will always be there.

You might be asking, why did he still sink with JESUS by his side? GOD only appreciates 100% concentration, you must be able to make bold declarations like, “I know who I have believe, I am sure what I have put into HIS hands is secured, I am that I am, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I am a god to my world etc” Abraham believed that he could still have a child at hundred because GOD said, that’s trust and what HE has done before, HE can do again. God will rather not say a thing than say it and not do it. Whatever you find in scripture is God talking to you. God puts forth a challenge in Isaiah 43v26 saying;

“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together…”

In other words, is there anything that I have said and seem to have forgotten by not bringing it to past? Then search it out! Brethren He is dependable and reliable. Don’t be afraid, only believe!

God bless you.
