HOW DO I CATCH AND MAINTAIN MY FIRE

It is simple, follow the steps I will be highlighting below and you are on fire for God;

Salvation- Give your life to Christ; ask Him to forgive you all your sins and that He should rule your life henceforth as your Lord and personal saviour. Simply put; Lord Jesus I acknowledge my sins, please forgive me all. I accept you as my Lord and personal saviour from now on, Amen.

Increase in grace- 2Peter 1v2 says;

“Grace...be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord”

You are saved by grace and not by any works whatsoever, Ephesians 2v8; much more the grace by which you were saved is a gift. I ask my young friends in the Lord “do you know how neck deep in debt you would have been if Christ had not come?” I am asking you the same now because if we were back in the days when goats, cows and lambs were being requested for our sins to be wiped out, you would be wiped out yourself by now.

Hence increase your grace by drawing closer to God; study Him through His words, Hebrew 4v16 says;

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”

Grace is all you need to burn continuously for God without which you live a life of risk.

Meditation- You cannot claim to know someone you have not studied or how then did you know him or her. Since the grace you need to help in times of need comes from God then the only way to have more and more of it is to study Him. That’s why Moses in Joshua 1v8 admonishes us through Joshua saying;

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”

Meditation is what keeps you constantly aflame for Christ. You get to know Him more and more. Matthew 6v33 admonishes that we seek His kingdom and righteousness any of which you can’t find outside His word. He is His word according to John 1v1.

There are different ways by which you can catch fire even aside the key ones mentioned above; you can either have a direct encounter with the master (fire) Himself like Paul did in Acts 9 and he never recovered from it. Also you can catch fire by coming in contact with someone who is already on fire; like Joshua caught the fire on Moses in Deuteronomy 34v9, Elisha caught the fire on Elijah in 2Kings 2v15 and Timothy caught the fire on Apostle Paul in 2Timothy 1v6 just to mention a few.

Conclusively, there is nothing further from the truth. You either take it or leave it but once you leave it look for no other because all else are lies and tricks of the devil. I see you on fire for God in the light of this word God is passing across to you through me and being amazement to your world. I am what I am today by God’s grace so, you locate His grace and turn your world upside down for the best.
