The life of Christ
in a believer is non-negotiable. Their Joy of the Lord in them and the love of
God they enjoy are also non-negotiable. Having said so much about our
non-negotiable inheritance in Christ Jesus Apostle Paul said “what then shall
we say?” in other words what offer does any have that is better off? He
therefore concludes that if God is on ones side no one can be against him/her,
Romans 8v31.
In like manner, God
Himself put forth challenges several times that whoever can counter what He
does should produce their cause so that they may reason together, Isaiah
41v21-29. In the twenty-eight verse of that chapter He said boldly that having
beheld there was no man among them that could answer “a word”. That's the God I
am introducing to you. When He speaks, it is done immediately. When He opens a
door the whole of hell can't shot it and if He chooses to shot another no one
can question Him. These amongst many other convincing proofs give me the
assurance that your victory in Christ is non-negotiable.
Now in Hebrews
11v1, the faith chapter defines faith as a substance and I am sure it will
please God to have me enlighten you on this bottle neck where most Christian
either stumble or get stuck today. Many turn back at this point because they
can't just figure out how faith is being described as a substance, knowing that
substances have definite and measurable features such as being visible, weighty
etc. The most important of this features which people want is the visible
proof. So until they feel and see they
wouldn't believe. The life of the just cannot be lived on any other line but
that of faith, Romans 1v17, Habakkuk 2v4, Hebrews 10v38 etc. The sixth verse of
the eleventh chapter of Hebrews even affirms that you can't please God without
faith. You are at a fix already. I can imagine you asking, so what do I do now?
I will show you the way in a moment.
Let me shed light
on this dark subject of the substances of faith. Tomorrow we be looking at some forms your
substance of faith could or even should take. Go well!
