THE SUBSTANCE OF FAITH (5)

BE OF GOOD CHEER

Another substance of faith is being cheerful, I mean be happy. Yes this could be very difficult most time because in real senses, how could you be rejoicing when things are down. But that's the principle in the kingdom we represent here on earth. When there is a casting down here then it is a lifting up opportunity for us. Because Isaiah 60v1 says you should arise and shine because your light has come as gross darkness covers the earth. Light shines best at night in other words when things get worse and worse it is a grand opportunity for you to shine. The places of impossibilities are the grand places of manifesting God's possibilities. Whatever you take from the kingdom treasure vault leaves much more in there to be accessed.

In John 16v33 Jesus said in the world ye shall have tribulations but you “be of good cheer” because He has overcome the world. Now the “be” in the phrase make it more of an instruction than just a word i.e. you are to be relax when you see things turn down in the world. A man came to ask Jesus to come and heal his daughter and while Jesus was on His way someone came from the man's house telling him not to bother the Master any longer that his daughter had died but Jesus told him “don't be afraid, only believe” Mark 5v36b and the man receive his daughter back alive.

Like I said earlier on that this principle could sound a bit not reasonable but it is a truth of the kingdom. Most of kingdom principles over turn earthly rules for an instance in the kingdom, he that scatters will have more but he that withholds will tend to poverty, Proverbs 11v24. That's strange, right? Because the earthly law says that you should save for rainy days. So what you are told to do here doesn't need to make any sense to you, just do it, John 2v5.
