HELP COMES FROM ABOVE

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. {I will...: or, Shall I lift up mine eyes to the hills? whence should my help come? My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” Psl 121:1-8

To whom you look up to for help determines a great deal how much help you get per time. The most potent help comes from God who can do anything and is ever willing to do anything for you. scripture reveals that man is vulnerable to disappointing you but God never changes; whatever He as promised to do He will definitely do. Our help comes from the Almighty God. He is the All Sufficient God; He made the heaven and earth; He is our helper and every one depends on Him because He is the only one that can satisfy us and He is dependable.

HELP COMES ONLY FROM GOD BECAUSE:
(a)  He is the Creator of heaven, earth and all of mankind; He made each person for  a unique purpose (Psalm 100:3)
(b) He loves you; God’s love is deeper than our problems and situation (Psalm 18:16)
(c)  God has wonderful promises for you, (Gen 24;7) i.e. Promises of success ,health, prosperity, strength, wisdom and more
(d) God cares, 1Peter 5:7. God is dear and He cares
(e)  God has the power to do all things, Luke 1:37, God can handle any situation you give him. No problem is too tough for him to handle.

HOW TO RECEIVE HELP FROM ABOVE;
(a)  Determine your present position
(b) Look for God’s promises  in his Word, acknowledge and believe his promises, Heb 11:6
(c)  Be specific about what you want, Mark 10:46-52
(d) Claim them through your spirit with your mouth, Mark 11:23
(e)  Trust Him to fulfil his promises

Many in the world today have developed too much familiarity with God to such an extent that they don’t take Him serious anymore when they hear His servants as it were speak to them. However, there is nothing wrong with getting familiar with God in fact, I prescribe it as the best way to living a successful Christian life on earth but you mustn’t allow such liberty or familiarity to destroy you as it is destroying many today.
We are in such a time in the world today when telling someone “Jesus loves you” sounds to common so they don’t take it serious; don’t fall victim please. The help you are looking for can only be found in God. Even when it is obvious that your neighbour or relative has the capacity to help, it will take God to order him/her to do it. Hence by so saying, you will agree with me that, that your relative is well to be does not automatically confer that responsibility on him/her to help you except God orders him/her to do so.

Finally, let me bring this write-up to a close with Psalms 127:1-2;

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.  It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep”

You can relax in faith, trusting God; He is able to run things without your help. However, on the contrary you cannot run things without Him. All you need to do is ask, knock and seek.
