LIVING THE NEW LIFE SUCCESSFULLY

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away behold, all things are passed” 2Corinthians 5:17

One question the body of Christ finds very difficult to answer is, how can one be born again and thereafter live the new life successfully? This we will attempt to answer today. Putting first things first you must know how one can be born again.

HOW CAN ONE BE BORN AGAIN?

-Acknowledge that you are a sinner, Rom 3:23

-Sincerely repent of your sins, Acts 3:19

-Confess your sins to God, 1John 1:9

-Forsake your old and sinful ways, Prov 28:13

-Believe Him and the sacrifice of substitution, John 3:16

-Receive Him into your heart by faith

-Be thankful to God for saving you.

Now that you are born again, you can now begin to think about living the new life and to be successful at it, the following are important;

-Witnessing Christ to others, Mark 16:15

-Total submission to Christ

-Prayer and constant fellowship with the brethren, Heb 10:25

-Give yourself to studying the word, Joshua 1:8, 1Tim 2;15

Conclusively Jesus says in Rev 3:20;

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me”

This is your accepted time. This is the day of your salvation. Congratulations.
