“Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away
behold, all things are passed” 2Corinthians
5:17
Once
you give your life to Jesus Christ and He becomes your Lord and Saviour, you
are born again. Certain wonders will follow and you will begin to live a new
life. Hence, the following wonders accrue to your new life and status;
a. Your record of sin will be wiped off, 1John 1:7
b. The original plan of God for your life will begin to
unfold e.g prosperity, 3John 2, fruitfulness, dominion and abundant life, John
10:10
c. You will become a member of God’s family hence,
whatever belongs to God belongs to you and you will get promotions you never
dreamed of.
Furthermore,
it is also important that we note some evidences of the new life. How do I know
that I am actually living in the newness of life?
a. A changed life, 2Cor 5:17
b. A righteous and holy life
c. You become a word addict
d. You will have Godly fear and operate in obedience to
His word
e. You will live an overcoming life
f. The Spirit of God will witness to you
g. You will maintain a consistent communion and
fellowship with God
h. You will be empowered to live the Christian life.
Conclusively
Christian must be different from unbelievers. He/she must have the signs of
Christ follow him/her everywhere they go. However, let go of every sinful
nature and every form of destructive relationship. God bless you.
